SECONDS MATTER:
Special Fundraiser for Ukraine
August 28-Septeber 30
We are joining Sails of Freedom as a community fundraising partner for Seconds Matter, a focused campaign supporting medics and evacuation teams working in the most war-torn parts of Ukraine.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 by September 30th to purchase and personally deliver three handheld ultrasound devices - compact diagnostic tools that can significantly reduce triage time and help medics make faster diagnostic decisions in the field.
The devices themselves cost approximately $10,800. The full campaign goal also covers the real cost of getting them there: transportation, flights to Europe, lodging in Ukraine, local travel, baggage/shipping, documentation, transaction fees, and an emergency buffer.
We'll kick things off at our monthly Borsch & Beats fundraiser for Ukraine on August 28th and will continue through mid-September when the team will start mobilizing to deliver the devices.
Every contribution helps.
$25 helps with delivery costs.
$100 funds part of a device.
$1,200 funds roughly one third of a device.
$3,600 funds one full handheld ultrasound device.

Mixology Classes
Join us to learn the techniques of a master mixologist, and shake your way to making great cocktails at home!
Your guide will take you step-by-step so you understand the fundamentals of mixology and make two delicious craft cocktails (+ a welcome drink). You'll learn why some drinks are shaken while others are stirred, what ingredients play well with each other, and find out the fascinating history of your favorite drinks.
These are lively classes that are as playful as they are informative. Your teacher will help you learn how to balance flavors and perfect recipes, like how to make an old-fashioned or a margarita. This is the perfect opportunity to plan an experience or gift for birthdays or other special occasions. Or just take time out with friends to do something fun and celebratory! At the end of your time, you will come away with real bartending skills and recipes to try the next time you get together.

Borsch & Beats
Join us for Borsch & Beats every fourth Friday, where coziness meets community spirit! Savor our delicious borsch, available in vegan and meat options, alongside freshly baked buns and fruit-infused house-made spirits. ​​​​​​​
