About Us

Founded by friends and co-owners Katya Skye, Suki Skye, Chef Katya Pervushina, and Tanya Ivanovich, DACHA Projects is rooted in the guiding principle: “Feeding with love. Leading with peace.” Our entire team is dedicated to fostering inclusivity and community—creating spaces where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and empowered to show up as their authentic selves.

Our mission is to nurture the growth of hospitality professionals and cultivate a vibrant, supportive community—for both our guests and team members. We are guided by the core values of Professionalism, Respect, Integrity, Dignity, and Empathy.

Our projects currently include DACHA Kitchen & Bar and Manhattan Zodiac by DACHA.

DACHA Kitchen & Bar takes its name from the Eastern European tradition of the dacha—a seasonal or year-round second home centered around family, food, and gathering. The restaurant pays homage to Chef Katya’s childhood favorites, reimagined with seasonal ingredients, modern techniques, and vivid presentation. Our full-service cocktail bar features custom-crafted drinks designed to pair with our menu, alongside a curated wine list highlighting Georgian selections. We also provide full-service food and cocktail catering for events from 5-500+ guests.

Manhattan Zodiac by DACHA offers expert bartending services, mixology classes, and consulting for bars and restaurants—specializing in cocktail program development, team training, and hospitality hiring.

Katya Skye

Katya Skye, with a background in economics and finance, boasts 12 years of experience as a logistics account executive. However, it was her move to San Francisco in 2015 that sparked her passion for bartending. Since then, Katya has spent the past 9 years honing her skills behind the bar, progressing from bartender to bar manager and consultant for establishments in New York and San Francisco.

In 2019, Katya co-founded Manhattan Zodiac, a renowned provider of top-quality bar catering, bar consulting, and mixology classes catering to both seasoned bartenders and cocktail enthusiasts.

Recently, Katya has joined forces with her wife Suki Skye and an exceptional team to embark on exciting new ventures. Notable among these projects are DACHA Kitchen & Bar and DACHA Cafe & Bar, with more exciting endeavors on the horizon.

Suki Skye

Suki is a Jill of All Trades, true public servant, and passionate connector who thrives on witnessing the transformative power of creative collaboration.

With extensive experience in the service industry, including events management, operations, marketing/communications, and life coaching, she is eager to embark on the next chapter of her journey and contribute to San Francisco's revitalization.

Together with her co-founder and wife, Katya Skye, and a team of dedicated individuals, Suki is excited to build something remarkable from the ground up.

Katerina Pervushina

Katya sparked her passion for cooking by learning from her mom as a young child. Her mom loved to try all types of foods, and encouraged Katya to do the same, and this led her to an exploration of different flavors and textures. With a background in finance, Katya took a class at Ragu Culinary School in Moscow and embarked on a transformative journey that led her to the Netherlands in 2014, where she turned her culinary passion into a profession. Since 2017, she has been working as a brand chef and private chef in the Bay Area, crafting her culinary expertise into delightful experiences. In 2022, Katya created the menu for the South Bay restaurant, Lele Cafe, and she is thrilled to be able to experiment in a kitchen of her own at DACHA.

Tanya Ivanovich

Tanya, originally from Saint Petersburg but raised in Belarus, has a background in accounting with 10 years of experience. Despite feeling a sense of belonging in another country, she found her home in the United States after immigrating several years ago.

Along with this change, Tanya shifted her career path from accounting to becoming a skilled cocktail wizard. As a co-founder of DACHA Projects, she is thrilled to embark on an exciting and challenging journey in this field.
