Lovestruck: A Queer Prom Experience

On June 14th, 2024, DACHA Kitchen & Bar became the heart of San Francisco's Gay Pride Month celebrations with "Lovestruck: A Queer Prom Experience", which was co-hosted with [ap] Parent Love. Located at 1085 Sutter Street, our restaurant transformed into a magical space where everyone could be their true, fabulous selves.

At DACHA, we understand that not everyone has the prom experience they deserve. Some of us come from countries where proms don't even exist, while others had less-than-perfect experiences on their own. That's why we created "Lovestruck"—a chance for everyone to dress up, feel special, and make unforgettable memories. From the moment you walked in, the night was filled with laughter, joy, and pure inclusivity.

Our guests enjoyed a fantastic blend of Eastern European delicacies and signature cocktails, snapped glamorous photos at the photo booth hosted by Cabure (@typo_daddy), and danced the night away to beats by DJ Bailey Schoefer @baileyschoefer and Helen Yamyams @yamyams_sf. It was a night where everyone sparkled and celebrated love in all its forms.

We are so grateful to everyone who joined us for this spectacular evening. "Lovestruck" was more than just a prom; it was a celebration of our vibrant LGBTQIA+ community.
